5 Organisation Apps to Simplify your Life

Let's talk about one of my favourite topics - organisation!

As much as I love the old fashioned notebook and pen to scribble down my notes and to do lists, unfortunately this approach just doesn't cut it in the technological age we live in. As business owners, it's so important for us to have absolutely everything recorded digitally that we can refer back to easily and efficiently when needed.

I'm all about simplicity and some of the easiest and most convenient apps I'm currently using include the following:

1. Microsoft To Do - in my opinion this is the simplest, most easy to use to do list tool available. I mainly use it on my phone to keep track of all my personal and business tasks, and the sound it makes each time I tick off a task gives me so much satisfaction!

2. Evernote - this is such a handy app to make note of my thoughts and ideas as I think of them from wherever I am. A great feature is that you can clip anything you find on the web, such as images, articles, recipes or anything you want to refer back to at a later date.

3. Calendly - I love how easy this makes scheduling appointments and meetings without the hassle of back and forth emails. It looks super professional too when communicating with clients!

4. Toggl - this is a great tool for tracking your time and is perfect for contractors, small business owners and entrepreneurs to boost productivity (or keep track of how much time you're spending scrolling through social feeds!)

5. Todoist - this is another to do list manager, and I like the functionality on this one when collaborating with a client or a team. You can create projects, then break them down into tasks and subtasks which can be assigned to other people.
